Mr. Polpetta

Polpetta: farmer’s olive oil

Mr. Polpetta was a Tuscan farmer (“valdambrino”), who was solitary, grumpy and tight-lipped. He spent his days in the fields, always busy working the land. Depending on the season, the climate, the light and the cyclical ways of nature, Mr. Polpetta devoted himself to work. No matter what kind, it was just crucial for him to see and touch the fruits of his hard work. To remember this tempered and determined farmer, our onymous extra virgin olive oil is born.

Character and authenticity

Known by all, but a friend to a chosen few, Mr. Polpetta is until today remembered as a free spirit who spent his long life never leaving (“not even for a day,” as his fellow villagers say) the place where he was born.

His devotion to the land and the close bond that prevented him from ever leaving it, inspired the name choice for Mr. Polpetta olive oil. A product with such a fruity and intense taste inevitably brings to mind the strong link between olive oil and the soil it comes from. This olive oil, just like Mr. Polpetta himself, boasts character and authenticity, two traits destined to make a quality product.

Mr. Polpetta

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

It’s produced in the heart of Valdambra, in sunny Isola Alta, on a hill that rises 350 meters above the sea level and takes its name from a river that flows on its slopes. Mr. Polpetta olive oil pays a tribute to a grumpy farmer who spent his long life right here, next to Ambra river. Strong spirited, determined, sometimes surly, but always sincere.
